Organisation of seven parallel workshops
The players of the creative industries must be strengthened by a coherent policy Europe wide. Within the Lisbon Strategy their contribution to employment and growth must be further supported. But what is significant for a coherent policy? It coordinates the strategies of various political players, e.g. the municipalities, the regions, the member states and the NGOs for each economic sector and targets to strengthen the players in the European as well as the global market. In seven parallel panels this coordination will be discussed with the aim to formulate, for each one of the seven different sectors, concrete action proposals for the political players.
Closure:
Dr. Hans-Georg Knopp, Secretary General of the Goethe Institute, Munich
Hans-Heinrich Grosse-Brockhoff, State Secretary for Culture, North Rhine-Westphalia
